Perhaps someone has updated the description in the last half hour or so [edit- that was between ~4:30A PST and 5AM PST, the approx original posting times of parent post and this one; original datestamps were lost upon subsequent editing]. I don't see any copying between the current, following item description and your own description on your own page: "The following concise, informative description was taken from http://en.wikipedia.org: "Flip the Frog was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's first sound cartoon. It is about a happy-go-lucky, needy frog, named Flip the Frog. "This cartoon was created by Ub Iwerks in 1930. He had drawn a frog and his girlfriend in "Night'", one of the last Silly Symphonies short films he drew while working for Walt Disney. "After leaving Disney, Ub Iwerks began the Flip cartoon series with the help of Pat Powers. The first cartoon that Ub Iwerks made for the series was called Fiddlesticks (released on August 16, 1930), and it was also the first color sound cartoon ever made. Fiddlesticks was made in two-color Technicolor. The rest of the Flip series were made in black and white, except for Techno-Cracked (1933). "FIDDLESTICKS is perhaps the least funny and entertaining of the FLIP cartoons, many of which have surprisingly adult gags." Or am I missing something between the two? EDIT: BTW, the current wikipedia entry is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_the_Frog

With all due respect: shouldn't this discussion be moved to another forum?

True, I don't know why the original poster chose this audio forum as it would be a way better topic for http://www.archive.org/details/classic_cartoons#forum

Unfortunately posts are hard to move between forums here without deleting them (unless someone like Tracey can do it?). Sorry!
